For several generations, Érablière du Cap has proudly featured local products in its family recipes. The Quebec maple tradition wouldn’t be complete without their famous meat pie, roasted potatoes, crispy pancakes, or maple syrup pie, to name just a few. Their hearty meals are enhanced by live music with a singer on weekends.

La Cabane du Coureur offers an epicurean experience that blends refinement and conviviality with a three-course menu. Sometimes classic, sometimes bold, the dishes focus on abundance and indulgence. Standout items include the Coureur des bois tourtière, omelet maki with foie gras and maple, beets and cucumber with fir gin, and their deep-fried crêpe with duck fat and maple butter. A fully vegan menu is also available for those interested.

An alternative to the sugar shack is to enjoy the “sugars” menu at Normandin, available for a limited time. There’s something for everyone: homemade pea soup, the sugar shack burger, special maple chicken bacon pizza, eggs Benedict with maple artisan ham, breakfast plates with quiche and maple sugar cream pancakes. And let’s not forget their delicious maple “pouding chômeur” — it’s hard to resist. Rooted in Quebec for over 50 years, this restaurant chain truly honors local products.
