Quebec’s Fish and Seafood Week, taking place this year from May 25 to June 3, 2023, is the perfect opportunity to savor the very best from the St. Lawrence River and responsibly farmed local aquaculture products — and to make delicious new discoveries. Restaurateurs across the province, members of the Aliments du Québec au menu program, will feature special dishes highlighting local fish, freshly caught shellfish, delicious crustaceans, seaweed, and more. Originally a food truck, Gaspésie Camion Gourmand opened its first permanent location at Le Central food hall in 2019 under the name Gaspésie Bistro Gourmand. Seafood is their signature, and their must-try creation is the lobster cone — a croissant-style cone filled with house lobster mixture, trout rillette, smoked shrimp, and maple balsamic caramel coulis.
