10th Anniversary of Aliments du Québec au menu

In 2014, Aliments du Québec launched the Aliments du Québec au menu program to encourage restaurants to source locally and to help consumers easily identify establishments that highlight Québec products on their menus. To date, more than 1,000 restaurants across Québec primarily cook with local ingredients.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Aliments du Québec au menu program, Aliments du Québec is unveiling a beautiful commemorative booklet, carefully crafted and filled with culinary delight. It showcases passionate restaurateurs, recipients of the Restaurateur Award, as well as 100% local recipes created by program members.

Designed for locavores who have a keen interest in local food, this booklet highlights proud ambassadors of Québec’s restaurant scene in a format that invites discovery and inspiration. A keepsake you’ll enjoy exploring and proudly displaying to share with others.

The Aliments du Québec au menu program brings together a wide variety of establishments: small neighborhood restaurants, food trucks, cafés, fine dining venues, seasonal restaurants, restaurant chains, and more.

To find a restaurant that cooks with local ingredients, simply consult our online directory (↓). You can search for establishments by region and category. Another way to identify them is by looking for the Aliments du Québec au menu logo sticker displayed in their window.

Prix Restaurateur

The Prix Restaurateur, an initiative by Aliments du Québec, was created to recognize restaurants in the Aliments du Québec au menu program that stand out for their commitment and efforts to source, use, and showcase Québec foods to their customers.

Each year since 2018, one restaurant has been crowned winner by a jury made up of leading figures from the restaurant and agri-food sectors.
