Once your membership is confirmed, you may submit your products for verification.
To do so, you must:
- Enter your product information on the Aliments du Québec digital platform;
- Submit a separate verification request for each product.
The Verification and Compliance Service will then analyze your products. Each product is reviewed individually through a rigorous, evidence-based process.
The Service evaluates, in particular:
- The origin of the ingredients;
- The locations where production, processing, and packaging take place;
- The transformation activities involved.
In the case of an organic product, the Service confirms with the CARTV (Conseil des appellations réservées et des termes valorisants) that the product holds a valid certification issued by an accredited organization.
Any product bearing an organic designation must comply with federal and provincial organic standards.
If it does not meet these requirements, it cannot receive Aliments du Québec certification marks.
Only products that meet all established criteria may be granted a certification mark.
