Aliments du Québec

The origin seal for products from here.

A product bearing the Aliments du Québec logo is made and packaged in Quebec, using a minimum of 85% Quebec-sourced ingredients. All main ingredients must come from Quebec, and every stage of processing and packaging is carried out locally.

This certification mark reflects the pride and commitment of businesses that rely on the richness of Quebec’s terroir and local know-how.

Note: the 85% requirement applies only to products made with more than one main ingredient.

Aliments préparés au Québec

For products processed here, using ingredients from Quebec and beyond.

This certification applies to products that are fully processed and packaged in Quebec, made with local and/or imported ingredients. Some main ingredients must be Quebec-sourced when available in sufficient quantities.

It highlights the expertise of our local businesses that process ingredients sometimes sourced elsewhere — always with the same skill, craftsmanship, and passion.

Issued in partnership with the Conseil des appellations réservées et des termes valorisants (CARTV), the Aliments du Québec – Bio and Aliments préparés au Québec – Bio labels guarantee both Quebec origin and compliance with organic standards.
